Robert Friedman is the Chief Marketing Officer for HBL. He is responsible for aligning the firm’s marketing strategy to support growth and business development goals. He has over 20 years of experience in Marketing and Digital Strategy. During his career, he generated double-digit revenue, yield, and market share growth for multiple global brands. Early in his career he also co-founded Web.com and served as the company’s first CEO. Robert grew Web.com to become one of the top 500 websites in the U.S., and in 2006 Web.com was acquired by Interland, Inc. (NASDAQ: INLD), who rebranded to Web.com.
Robert received his B.S.E. in Operations Research from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from HEC Paris. He has also completed graduate studies in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Having lived, studied, and worked a total of 6 years in France, Robert is an avid chef and enjoys barbecue, swimming, billiards, and most activities that involve power tools.
