Rick Sutter is HBL’s Director of Business Development. He brings deep employee benefits broker relationship building, consulting, and overall insurance experience to the team. His background spans roles from an award-winning corporate officer and sales Vice President with a major life and health insurance carrier to a leading benefits industry business development director. Rick leverages his talent by driving real-world engagement with HBL in all areas of Firm specialization.
Rick received his B.A in Business Administration and Economics from Grove City College. He’s performed graduate work in Human Resources Management and holds certifications and accreditations from NABIP and IIAA. He is a local theater actor, downhill skier, and avid golfer. He also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching NFL football (Steelers and Bills!).
